The Gardens theme - A hollywood identity
Our "gardens theme" of dense tropical plantings, green space and fun, healthy outdoor activities, was easily adapted to fit and enhance the laid back personality of Hollywood. It's not the high-rise density of Aventura or Sunny Isles, the fast-paced club-hopping scene of South Beach, or the formal Mizner influenced, Italianate style of Boca Raton. It also, very purposely, has little to nothing in common with nearby neighbors such as Gulfstream Park or the Dania Pointe project that's now underway just a few exits north on I-95. We can define Hollywood Gardens by what it clearly is not.
Hollywood can and should provide the clear alternative, the antidote to these places by delivering quality tropical outdoor space where people of all ages can find plenty to do in a casual, laid-back natural environment. The under-utilized Orangebrook golf course provides Hollywood with something very valuable - a unique opportunity to more strongly define itself by putting an exclamation point on the great characteristics Hollywood already possesses. In the end, we want people thinking, "I need a break from the everyday stuff, where else but Hollywood."
